Can I book Accommodation without Grooming or Health Care?

Being boutique, we need to prioritize our dedicated accommodation space for our Health Care & Grooming clients.

This includes cats who are anti-social, elderly or Blind.

Fancy Felines is a Health Care, Respite & Grooming facility for cats, we are not a cattery.

My cat stays at another local cattery, can we book grooming only?

Yes absolutely!

We are pleased to be in conjunction with our other local catteries in Whangarei and provide a pickup and drop off service free of charge to their venues. It is our intention to work with our fellow cattery owners and not be in competition to them. This is important for us and is a big part of why we have chosen not to run as a standard cattery facility. Please be mindful that if you have come to our services through your regular cattery, we cannot extend your stay beyond the complimentary 24 hours included at our Facility. We will be happy to return your cat to your regular cattery accommodation in Whangarei if you require extended accommodation.

I don't need/want my cat to stay overnight for Grooming

Please let us know in advance so that we can priorities your fur babies grooming time to be earlier in the day for a same day return.

I have two cats, one needs medical care and the other is fine, can they both stay at Fancy Felines?

We understand the need to keep your fur babies in one place while you are away, this is often best for the cats and for the owners, we make allowances for this. We provide a standard day rate for well cats of $20 plus Gst per 24 hours. If you have come to us through your regular cattery for medical care, please note that you will need to return to your regular cattery once your cat is recovered. If your cat has long term medical needs and you would like to swap over to our care indefinitely, we ask that you please inform your usual cattery of this change in circumstances for your cats welfare.

PLEASE NOTE:

All cats receiving Hyperbaric treatment must stay on site until the completion of their treatment plan, this is usually between 1-4 weeks depending on the situation

Medical bookings will be given first priority for homestay - if we cannot accommodate your cat following your groom we will arrange for alternative accommodation at another local cattery and provide transfer to their care at no further cost

Travel that is more than 10km from Whangarei Centre will incur an extra fee

We are currently working on a plan to provide return travel for our clients further north Bay Of Islands, KeriKeri and as far south as Auckland on a regular basis for a reasonable fee.
